What is Alpha?
A series of interactive sessions where guests have an opportunity to explore life and Christian faith freely in a friendly and informal environment.
WHAT'S unique?
Alpha guests grow individually, yet also develop relationships with others - even if they are not at all like themselves.
Each Alpha session has three elements
CONNECTION
All sessions start with a time of connection—over a meal —to relax and build friendships. Conversation and sharing is a major aspect of Alpha. Bringing people together as friends in a fun and non-judgmental setting and sharing a meal is an essential part of Alpha.
CONTENT
The Alpha Videos are designed to engage people from all walks of life and inspire conversation. About thirty minutes long, they explore the big issues of life and faith and unpack the unique claims and promises of Christianity, addressing questions like “Is there more to life than this?” “Who is Jesus?”, and “How Can I Have Faith”
CONVERSATION
Probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic in a small group discussion. There's no obligation to say anything and there's nothing you can't say (seriously). It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
ALPHA DAY Away
After week 7 an optional, but highly recommended retreat takes place on the Saturday following the weekly session. For many it’s the most memorable and impact-full part of Alpha.

No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
